Demand and Supply in Higher Ed
Conventional wisdoms states
a problem with the product
implies there is a
problem with supply.
Lack of student performance implies a poor educational system.
Insufficient infra, outdated curriculum, underqualified teachers, etc.
We live in an era of universal access to all knowledge.
Supply is nolonger the constraint.
There is an abundance of supply.
The bottleneck has shifted to lack of demand.
Education system must actively create demand.
