Value of Time and Work
Thoughts and writing on the value of time and work.
Die Empty
In the book Die Empty the author asks an interesting question and proposes a great answer:
What's the most valuable land in the world?
It's the graveyard. That's where all the untouched business ideas, unwritten books, unexpressed feelings, unfulfilled love and dreams are resting.
The solution to this problem is to give your best every day and die empty.
From a Vedic perspective, the author is asking the reader to exhaust their vasanas and end the cycle of birth and death.
Urgency in Everyday Actions
I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. - Stephen Grellet
Why do we Procrastinate?
We procrastinate because we overvalue the present and undervalue the future. We defeat procrastination by realizing that if we do not take action today, then we will never achieve our dreams of tomorrow.
